RSS feeds and the links to them have been updated to be more intuitive and closely integrated with the website.
The resolution preferences options have been changed. Some rarely-used ones have been removed and some more popular ones have been added.
Thanks go to Johan for his suggestions about this.
We love it when users give us feedback and we often implement the changes you suggest, so please don’t be shy.
There has been some recent downtime (growing pains) on dmb.
The issue is resolved now, so please continue to enjoy the free wallpapers.
Well we have added little Like buttons on the image pages, so if you think an image is particularly great please support us by clicking the button.
That simple click can help us a lot by driving more traffic to our sites, which in turn increases the chances of the ads being clicked, which gives us money to pay for the server and development.
We’re moving dmb to the new server today, sorry for the slight downtime but enjoy the increased speed
So far qmb is doing well on the new server so we will also be moving tmb over the next few minutes. There may be some short downtime for around an hour.
Quad Monitor Backgrounds has experienced some downtime recently as it was moved to another server.
We are testing the new server for speed and stability.
If everything continues to go well with the new server we will move all our websites over which will result in a better experience for everyone.
Thank you for your patience.
We have added an anime category to dmb.
It will feature many wallpapers from popular anime like Black Lagoon, Elfen Lied, Bleach, Darker Than Black, Claymore, etc.
We hope you enjoy them!
Our wallpaper sites have always targeted PC users. On a PC (Windows, Linux, etc.) you just need one wide image to apply as the background for your multiple monitors. On a Mac you need one image per monitor. So today we added Mac support to all 3 wallpaper websites (dmb, tmb and qmb).
On each image page, below the preview image, you will find links for Mac users like “left”, “middle”, “right”, etc.
Hopefully this is useful for some of our users. Enjoy!
We’ve applied all the changes to dmb now, which completes the new lot of websites. It will take a while for all the new caches to catch up, so please bear with the speed for a day or so, then it should be very responsive.
As always, any feature requests or bug reports can be given on our forums or the contact page on the website.
Enjoy!
